Good ideas solve problems in a way that is far better than the existing alternatives. Our hunt for such ingenuity is ongoing. We do this because good ideas excite us and fantastic ideas move us to action. We are inspired by the inventive spirit and believe this innovative spirit is what drives entrepreneurship.

IP Assessment

Not every noteworthy idea or patent asset is a fit for us.  We are looking for original ideas and patent assets that have crossed or are expected to cross the adoption threshold.

Before engaging in an investment, we undertake a thorough vetting process to confirm the innovation is an original idea and one that has or is likely to have parties who would benefit from utilization of the innovation. 

This means we conduct extensive analysis of the technology itself, evaluate those who developed the technology and consider the scope of existing technologies. 

Advocacy Phase

If the result of our due diligence is favorable, we work with the IP owners to develop an IP strategy and a deal framework for either bringing the idea to market and/or licensing it to those who are better suited to do so or have already done so.

In instances where a company is already practicing an invention without proper attribution to the inventor or patent owner, we carefully plan and implement a strategy to recognize the value of the invention by bringing in qualified IP counsel to negotiate constructive licensing deals.
